Scariest thing to me is anything out of the ordinary. As a kid I had my room in the basement of the house, separate from anyone else in the home. As I looked at the base of the door one night I noticed the hall light begin to flicker. I covered myself with my blankets and couldn't get any sleep as my thoughts were thrown around as to what and who could be causing this.
Yesterday at work I was putting in a lighting grid in the new upstairs office. One of my biggest phobias is handling electricity. I nearly fell off my stool from worrying so much about a shock!
Watched a scary movie this week. It was kind of over the top with CGI but still had a freaky story. The little girl who at first you thought was being the one harmed is later to find out the one causing all the trouble.
I'm not sure what it is that scares me... It's interesting to think about. At the moment I am taking a class called cromophobia, focusing on the fear of color and the lack of it you see in a lot of art work today.

One of my worst fears is baby alligators! They freak me out so bad and I don't live close to any. Big alligators scare me too but not as bad as baby ones. Baby snakes scare me also!
I'm not scared of much, but spiders freak me out. Its not too bad if they are near me but if one gets on me I lose it and I start smacking all over my body. You never know where that little sucker is!
When I watch scary movies I don't get too freaked out by the supernatural creatures that go bump in the night. Its the stories about people, real human beings doing monstrous things. It scares me so bad! Like serial killers that lead completely normal lives, that have normal friends and family. When I'm watching a movie like that I always think, "That could be my neighbor... or friend, or boyfriend!!" You never know, and it creeps me out!

ReplyDeleteThat's funny because I've owned both a snake and a "baby alligator" (lil' gecko). I've never been too scared of animals.
